About SBWC Fundamental Strength

This is where you begin your journey to a stronger, more mobile, more agile, and healthier version of your current self. You start with a 30-minute assessment and a Fid 3D body scan with one of our coaches. Your assessment is followed up with a 90 minute 1-on-1 training session where we will analyze your ability to execute compound barbell lifts such as the squat, bench press, deadlift, and overhead press. No experience is necessary. We will adjust our coaching and the training session to your abilities. If you have never touched a barbell before, we will start with the basics and proceed with a pace that is comfortable for you. If you already have some experience lifting then we will delve deeper into your technique and make sure that you are moving safely and efficiently and ultimately bust through those pesky plateaus.

Training sessions are 90 minutes long. You are required to reserve your training sessions in advance. Reserving your training sessions ensures that no time will be wasted when you arrive at SBWC. Your rack or platform will be waiting and you can get right to work! All training sessions are coached. Our approach to coaching during your training session is that we are there when you need us but we don’t get in the way. In our opinion, you get the best of both worlds; autonomy and supervision. We also write and provide your program so you will never have to worry about knowing what to do once you get here. Your program is provided via an app so you can take your program with you if you travel and our coaches can monitor your progress and make changes on the fly. Remote programming and coaching only is available on request. You are welcome to train every day at SBWC as our programs are auto-regulated and we offer sprint training on your off days.

In a nutshell, all you have to do is show up and we’ll take care of everything else!
